I want to uninstall XP, but I previously had Windows 95,
so I had to use a "New PC" cd. The uninstallation option
isn't in the control panel. How do I uninstall it? Also,
I didn't overwrite the old W95 files, so they're still
there.

You're basically screwed. Best you can do is back up your data, format,
and reinstall Win95.

You'll have to remove XP and re-install Win95. But why would you
want to do that? If you're having difficulties with XP, why not ask
for assistance here? Win95 is no longer supported by MS and is a
very old operating system.

Well, I don't want to format... What's the best partition
program?

You don't need a partition program to uninstall XP. Please
explain what you want to accomplish and what your problem is.

Ken Blake blathered more of his illogic:

Couldn't you bother reading the whole effin' thread?! He wants to get
rid of XP, but doesn't want to reformat, and he wants Win95 back on his
computer in working condition!

I'd tell you to keep your mouth shut until you knew what the f*ck you
were talking about, but we both know that ain't never gonna happen!

Uninstall is only available when you have upgraded an earlier system,
and formally saved its files. Best you can do now, short of a total
reformat, which would really be best, is boot with your Win95 Startup
floppy, and delete the C:\Windows folder (if you have the XP and 95
files mixed in the same folder then you will have to install the lot, if
in separate ones I would delete both. And then give
SYS C:
So as to put back the original Win95 boot files, go to your Win95 CD and
run
Setup

That presumes you have Win95 CD drivers on the floppy, which Win95 does
not put there by default - if yours does not have them I would download
an image of a Win98 startup floppy from www.bootdisk.com and use that
