Hi

My son's PC (AMD 2500 processor, ASrock K7vm4 motherboard etc) had to have
the motherboard replaced recently with another of the same type. I tried
reinstalled Windows xp but not much else works - eg sound and other programs
installed previously.

I would like to reformat the C drive and start again but don't know how to
do this as xp seems to be in total control.

Can someone please help me with the reformatting process.

Thanks
Dave

Greetings --

Simply boot from the WinXP installation CD. You'll be offered the
opportunity to delete, create, and format partitions as part of the
installation process. (You may need to re-arrange the order of boot
devices in the PC's BIOS to boot from the CD.)
