I'd like to un-install Windows Messenger V5.0, and re-install WM V4.7.2009,
as I cannot get WM5 to do audio and video conferencing. These features
worked fine with V4.7.
I don't have any problems with remote assistance or application sharing. I
haven't tried file transfers (which I understand is now upnp in wm5).

There is no WM5 selectable in the Add/Remove Programs in control panel. I've
found several newsgroup items to uninstall WM, but when I try it, it say it
wants to uninstall WM4.7.

I cannot use System Restore. For some reason there is only one restore point
available, created this morning, and I installed WM5 on the 5th August.

I'm running WindowsXP Pro, am on broadband, using a DLink DSL-504 with UPnP
enabled. I don't use the XP firewall or use any other 3rd party software
firewall.

I've also tried MSN Messenger V6. The webcam works, but audio and video
conferencing will not work, so I'd rather go back to what I know used to
work.

Thanks
Mike
