I recently did a "new" install of Windows XP Pro on my
machine.

How do I uninstall my previous operating system - Windows
2000 Pro?

Thanks

Looks like my original never made it:
Format the 2000 partition

With the very limited information you supplied, it is hard to specifically
give an answer. Did you install XP to a new folder on the same partition as
2000? Did you install XP to another partition? I will give you a couple of
links that may address the configuration, but post back with more detail if
you need more help. You can also check other solutions on the same web page.
Click on or copy and paste the link below into your web browser address box.
I have two installations of XP on the same partition.......

Weird - it showed up here then when I clicked it I got the "This message is
no longer available" message. Thanks though

Good point-

Copy NTLDR, BOOT.INI and NTDETECT.COM to the XP partition, format the 2000
partition, then copy the files back to C:. You might also want to edit
boot.ini to take out the 2000 line.

Good catch CZ
