Uninstalling SQL Server

I bought a program--some data using a MS SQL server engine which it loaded.
It loaded and worked fine. Later I deleted it. Now I want to reload the CD
but I get messages like "insert the CD" (which is already inserted). The
manufacturer is baffled. Am sure if I can uninstall whatever is left in the
registry about the engine and let the CD reinstall it, all will be fine. How
do I do this?

Let's recap:

1. The people who MADE this program can't figure it out.
2. You haven't given anybody here a clue as to the NAME of the
program.

I'd say you aren't going to get much help. You need to provide
relevant details!
