Uninstalling an Operating System

I would like to know if there is a way to uninstall and operating system,
because i have not been able to find any information on it.

Format the partition where is the operating system.

You don't uninstall an operating system. You format the drive/partition
and install another operating system (if so desired).

Yes, but "uninstall" isn't really the correct word. To get rid of an
operating system, you simply format the drive or partition on which it's
installed.

Why do you want to do this? What are you trying to accomplish?

The normal way to "uninstall" *any* operating system is to format
the hard drive and install a new OS of your choice.

Only if you performed an upgrade from Win98/Me, elected to backup
the old system files, and didn't convert the partition to NTFS, can
you then boot into Safe Mode and click Start > Control Panel
Add/Remove Programs. All of these conditions must be met for
WinXP's uninstall option to be available.
