Uninstalling 98

Hi,

Did you upgrade or create a new installation (and therefore a dual-boot)?

If it was an upgrade, all you need to do is remove the option to revert back
to Win98. This involves merely removing the undo file that the upgrade
created. Check add & remove in the control panel.

If it is a dual boot, boot WinXP and delete the Win98 system folders from
Windows Explorer. Then go to the control panel/system/advanced tab, click on
startup and recovery settings, then click "edit". Remove the line
referencing the Win98 installation from the [operating systems] section. Use
apply/ok to get back out.
