I have installed XP in the same partition as 2000 pro. I am re-installing all
programs, and XP is fine, but on startup I get an option of XP or the
original 2000 (which won't run now anyway) How can I uninstall the original
windows, or bypass this option so XP starts automatically?

As always, thanks a bundle

Delete Win2K's system folders (probably C:\WinNT\, be be certain) and
then edit C:\Boot.ini to remove the line(s) referencing the old
installation.
