Uninstalled Outlook 07 trial, Outlook 03 won't Load Personal files

I've read the threads that have dealt with the issues, but the solutions
don't work. I uninstalled OL2007, reinstalled OL2003 Small Business, went to
Control Panel, Mail, set up there, opened Outlook, tried to OPEN (not import)
Personal folders, but still get not compatible version. What else can I do to
get back in business. Email is my life line.
Thanks

Except that the article doesn't apply. Read it. Outlook 2007 files are
perfectly compatible with Outlook 2003. Something was not posted correctly.

If this information is not correct, which when I tried it, I don't get the
option to add a file folder for 2007-02 version, so I am hitting a dead end.
If the files are supposedly compatible from 2007 to 2003, why can't I open
the folders or import the data? Sure miss my contacts and old emails. Help.

How you created and transferred this PST file, how you are opening it, and
the exact error message would be essential information for troubleshooting.

I guess your pst file is an outlook 2007 pst file, which can't be read
by
outlook 2003.

When I started the OL2007 the default file was Outlook. I guess this is where
the information was stored as I used the trial product. I didn't change
anything after that in OL07. When I uninstalled the trial version, I ran the
OL2002 that resided on my program files. When it tried to run I got the
message that it could not locate the Personal File folder and asked if I
wanted to use the default file folders. I searched MS for a solution to this
problem. I tried to OPEN the Outlook file that contained my data, but it said
it was in the wrong format. I then tried to import this and it did not work
either. Since then, I have tried to ADD a new Personal File Folder, which it
has done, but still does not contain my old emails and contacts. That seems
to be the best of my memory.
Any suggestions?
