How do I uninstall window media player 10 . I am using Window XP. Not showing
in add/remove hardware

I did upgrade to WMP10, but before I did this I try to uninstall but nothing
in add/remove, so went ahead anyway.
THe reason I tried to upgrade, even do I already had WMP 10, is that I have
lost the "sound" when playing anything with WMO, so I thought that by
uninstalling and reinstalling I would get rid of that problem.WMP always
worked ok but started this a few days ago. As you can see, I'm not an expert
at this.

WMP 10 update should be listed under 'Windows XP - Software Updates - it is
here. Have you tried to re-install WMP 10 yet, even though you can't
uninstall at the moment?

Hi
Sorry for the delay. I have tried everything that you mentioned and some
more, but to no avail. Reverted to WMP9 and sound is back on. Tried again to
install WMP 10 and same thing, no sound. Went back to WMP9.
