I had a problem on XP and inadvertantly reloaded XP, but
ended up with a second version of XP loaded ( I got the
original one running with restore). Dual booting I can
select either operating system. I would like to delete the
last installation as I only need the original
installation. I now have two windows dir etc. This is
taking up space and would like to de-install the last. The
help says go to control panel and to add/remove programs
and select XP in window to uninstall. But in the window
there are no programs or xp to select so as to de-
install. How do I de-install the second copy of XP?

Visit http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/xpfaq.html and click on
link #18 (I have two installations of XP on the same partition) and
follow the instructions.
