Hey there,
I finally bought an new laptop and would like to
uninstall my XP Pro and load it over the XP Home on the
new model.
I want to do this legally but I don't know how to do it;
I do not have the option to uninstall XP in my add/remove
programs screen.
Any ideas or help?
Thanks!
Scott

Scott;
There will only be an uninstall option if Windows XP Pro was an
upgrade.
Remove Windows XP Pro from the computer by formatting or installing
another operating system.

Then install Windows XP Pro on the new computer.
Worst case is a 5 minute call to Microsoft.

This does not apply if Windows XP Pro is OEM.
Normally OEM is permanently tied to the original computer and can not
be transferred to another computer regardless the condition of the
original computer.
