Uninstall WIndows xp Home Edition

m suspect that I have a problem with Windows xp Hone edition.
As I have downloaded SP2 I cannot reinstall windows over the existing.
I have tried to install window to a second disk but that will not work.
CAN I SAFELY UNINSTALL WINDOWS XP AND REINSTALL IT WITHOUT CAUSING ANY
PROBLEMS TO OTHER PROGRAMS/FILES.

May I do the same with Office xp Professional

NO!
You need to slipstream your xp cd and do a repair install.
