Uninstall RC2 before installing final SP2????

Can anyone please tell me if it will be necessary to uninstall RC2 of SP2
before installing the final release?

If so, what is the best way to remove RC2?

According to all that Microsoft has said, it will NOT be necessary to
uninstall SP2-RC2 before installing the release vision of SP2. It is
supposed to install over ANY vision of XP regardless of updates that may or
may NOT have been installed. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if that
is all true.

Exactly, it is not required, but you can do whatever you want. I always
just do a clean install from a slipstreamed CD once RTM is released ;)

Yeah Nathan has the Idea....NEVER install a final over an RC!
