My son-in-law visited for a few days and he installed a program on my
computer called Novell Groupwise. I've uninstalled it, but I notice that
there is a program now in Add/Remove called WindowsNT Messaging. I don't
recall seeing it there before. I'd like to know what it is and whether I can
safely uninstall it.

Do a System Restore to before your relative used your PC.

Subtract the aggravation & time you'll spend cleaning up after
him from your Will. I'm always amazed at how folks get on a
person's PC and "Twiddle" Settings/Install Apps, download
junk and NEVER seems to feel like they should remove it or
tell the owner what they did to it.

It is amazing that anybody would install a program on someone else's
computer without asking permission first.
Nevertheless, I'm still in the dark as to what WindowsNT Messaging is or
whether it is an essential part of Windows XP. I wouldn't think that rolling
back System Restore would "uninstall" a program that shows up in Add/Remove
Programs.
