I am not happy with outlook connect. :( I cannot add all of my subfolders
to it. Is there a workaround? If not, how do I uninstall connect and all of
it's components? I uninstalled connect but then I got an error msg from
outlook when I start the program then it closed down.

Help please.

Thank you,

Sharon

Well, I reformatted my C drive. Then I installed Outlook. But did not
import my files. I decided to go to Microsoft and install add-ins first. I
wanted to try Outlook Connect. So I installed it with all of its components.
Then I wanted to import my Outlook inbox and sub folders. I got an error
msg saying that I cannot import my sub-files because hotmail does not use
sub-folders. So I suppose that hotlook is my main outlook profile and I
don't have my usual Outlook personal .pst files on my computer. My hotlook
email address is my default email in outlook. I don't want it to be. I want
my dslextreme to be my default provider so when I send out my business emails
it does not show my hotmail address.

So I have three problems:

I cannot uninstall Connect and all of the hidden files. When I uninstall
connect my Outlook is searching for the Connect and will not work because it
is searching for it and then Outlook crashes. I read somewhere that there is
a msncon.dll file and other files in the registry that need to be deleted and
the uninstall connect does not remove them. So I don't know how to delete
all of those files. Doesn't MSN have a program that will delete all of its
components?

I cannont install my personal .pst sub folders because Connect hotmail
address is my default address and will not give me the option to use my
business email address.

Because of my Connect my Outlook turned into Outlook Today. I do not want
to use Outlook Today (because of the subfile issues). I only want Outlook.

I hope this is clear enough for you.

I hope you can help.

Thank you.

My Outlook turned into Outlook Today because of the connect.

Which folders? The connector copies the hotmail folders to outlook.
