connected his hdd as a slave) created a swap partition within a partition
and installed linux in that partition. he has now no use for linux and now
the question is "how to uninstall linux without any damage". we shall be

.
Hi!
There may be two ways:-
1].Enter the booting with a simple Windows 98 start-up
floppy and with the command "fdisk" you can view the
partitions. Now follow the on screen instructions and delete
that very partition.
2]With the help of Partition magic you can delete the
partition,containing Linux.

If its booting to some linux boot loader, you may need to reset the mbr. Try

fdisk /mbr

Either before or after deleting the partition. But if it was booting off the
linux partition, you may have trouble booting. Make sure you keep a boot
disk handy.
