This morning I installed 3 "critical updates" for XP Pro. I now cannot send
e-mail thru my ISP, Earthlink.

EARTHLINK STATES THAT TODAY'S UPDATES ARE INCOMPATIBLE WITH EARTHLINK

How do I uninstall this update?

Ask in an Windows newsgroup, since you state that the updates were for XP
Pro.
 
Sorry, a typo. Critical Updates were for office XP Standard.

ps I've been on the phone for the past 90 minutes with Microsoft trying
many things. The bottom line: I can send & receive just fine using
Earthling Web mail, but not using Outlook 2002. SP3 f*%@kd it up.
Earthlink is one of the largest ISP's in the US. Wouldn't you think MS
would have tried out the "patch" before release?

BTW, I installed the same Update on my other computer, it works fine. Only
difference is ISP; it is Verizon.

I sincerely doubt that using Earthlink as the ISP has anything to do with
it. My daughter uses Earthlink and has that patch installed. Outlook works
with no problem.
