I am constantly getting the pop-up error message, "CP_MAIN database has
reached maximum size".

This has started within the past month. I do not recall changing any
parameters or installing new programs, but I have been editing a book, and
using copy/paste like crazy.

I can find nothing on this error message, or it's cure. I would be grateful
for any advice.

Hi Diamondful

Are you by any chance using a clipboard extension/utility, such as
ClipPad995? That seems to be implicated in a thread on ExpertsExchange.
The poster reported that removing it solved the problem.

Dear Niteowl,

Brilliant. I do use the free version of PDF995, but I don't use their
ClipPad995, however, there must be a remnant of that program in my free
version, which can be upgraded to include ClipPad995. I will check this out
and let you know. I really appreciate the swift response to this annoying
problem!

Sincerely,

Diamondful

Dear Niteowl,

I did go into my original download (which was over 6 months ago) and it
seems I tested Clipad995, but even though I never consciously used it, it was
activated in the background and every time I used copy/paste, it saved my
copy to Clipad995, ultimately filling its database. I purposefully activated
the program, hit CTRL-A on the saved copies, deleted all, and the problem is
gone!

I really appreciate you being there. I have never accessed this type of chat
space for help, and I am impressed at the results.

Sincerely,

Diamondful
