UnHide rows?

Excel 2007

Is there a 'trick' to unhiding rows? I hid rows 3-5 in my worksheet and
now no matter what I do I cannot unhide them. I have tried selecting row
2 and row 6 with the same result, the hidden rows stay hidden. All of my
references to the hidden rows/cells work fine.

Thanks

How exactly did you select Row 2 & 6?

If you click on the Row2 header, hold down <Ctrl>, and click on the Row 6
header, "UNHIDE" *will not* work ! ! !

If you do the above while holding down <Shift> instead of <Ctrl>, OR, click
in 2 and drag down to 6,
Then it SHOULD work.

That is, if you didn't protect the sheet after hiding the rows.

I was not Selecting both 2 AND 6, obviously I did not read the Help
close enough. Duh!
To display hidden rows, select the row above
and below the rows that you want to display.

Thanks!

Hi

In addition to the solution Rick gave you, in XL2007 if you click the
triangular button to the left of column A, this will select the whole
sheet for you (columns and rows).
Then, right click anywhere on the sheet>Unhide and all hidden rows would
be unhidden.

Actually Roger, doesn't that refer to all versions?

Clicking to the left of Column A ... I mean ... not necessarily a triangular
button though.<g>

Hi Rick

Yes, it does apply to all versions.
As the OP had said he was on XL2007, I thought I would refer to the
"fancy new shape"<g>
