unhide only some columns

I often work with big documents and need to unhide the column to the left or
the right of a visible one. Is there a way to unhide only some of a
contiguous group of hidden columns?

F5 (Go To)
Enter a cell in the hidden column.
Format / Column / Unhide

Jamie,

I use Goto (F5 key) and enter the columns -- for example, say that columns C
through G were hidden and I want to unhide D and F --

Press F5 and in the Reference field enter d : d,f: : f (here I used extra
spaces for posting clarity) and click OK, then do Format> Cells> Unhide
