I have a couple of computers at work that I have noticed something odd
with, I was hoping someone else could let me know if there is something
that I have to worry about or if it is normal.

When windows loads, Win XP Pro, I sometimes see an icon of a world -
yellow background and red continents - and the banner "News Service"
load into the taskbar for about long enough for me to read it and
register that it is there, then dissapears. I have only seen it a
couple of times and never when I try to re-create it.

My question is if someone else has seen this and if so what is it?

Thanks!

Good idea. Spybot, Search and Destroy would be a good idea too:

Be sure to update both of them before using them and run them in Safe Mode.

Bad idea. Recommending a BETA product is not very nice of you, Carey. In
fact, it's unconscionable.
