I just installed XP home edition onto a new computer and
when I am logged onto the internet for a period of time
(5min - 20min) an error saying the system is shutting
down, save all your work, etc. It says it was initiated
by NT Authority\System. And then below in a message box
it says "Windows must now shut down because the Remote
Procedure Call (RPS) service terminated unexpectedly." I
am using Earthlink 5.0 for internet service but had no
problems with that same software on old machine running
Windows 98. Any suggestions?
