Greetings:
I created a workgroup prematurely and find that I
cannot clear the box. Is there a way to undo this?
Advice sought

1. Open XP's "Help and Support Center".
2. In the Search box type: WORKGROUP , and hit enter.
3. Click on the task titled: "Join a workgroup".

From System Properties [Winkey+Pause/Break]> Computer Name> Change. Change
the name by checking the Workgroup radio button and typing the correct
workgroup name. Select OK, then Apply. Close System Properties. You will be
prompted to reboot.

Much thanks for your reply. I need to rephrase the
problem. I want to clear the workgroup box so that there
is no name in that box. When the workgroup name is
removed the "OK" button is disabled. So to reiterate: I
don't want to change one workgroup name to another... I
don't want any workgroup at this time. Advice still
sought.

Greetings:

I need to restate the issue. I do not want to have a
workgroup at this time. I do not want to change
workgroups. I find that when the name is removed from
the workgroup the OK button no longer functions. Help
still sought.
