Is it possible (without a clean install) to undo an upgrade to Media Player
10.0.

I know the installer created a restore point, but unfortunately I have made
several other significant changes and so I don't want to go that route.

Media Player 10.0 is causing conflict in another media program I have
installed and I need to reinstall version 9.0

Thanks

What program is it causing conflicts with?
What conflicts are being caused?

I use MP10 here with no conflict from Realplay, mmjb or
pyro or quicktime.

In 2 Timothy 3:1-7, there is a list of the qualities that
Unregenerate man will have in the last days. Is your quality
found there? If So, don't despair - Christ came to save His
people.

Lester,

It is a bell and whistle program called Dell Media Experience Deluxe. The
computer visualization don't work with Media 10.0 installed.

Have you looked in "add/remove programs"? I uninstalled it from there. Or you could do a repair install of XP, slipstreamed with SP2.

Jeff,

Add/Remove Programs was the first place I looked? No joy as it wasn't there
:-(. I put my toe in the water but quickly pulled it back wrt "a repair
install." The process is a bit over my head. The problem is relatively
minor and not worth me risking a blue screen over. Thanks for your reply.
What does "slipstreamed" mean?

Look in there again- click Show Updates and you'll see it. =)
