Hi

Press Contol/Z as soon as you delete to cancel the delete or get a copy
from a back up.

Thats it - other than that - it's gone for good

Sorry I know that is really not the answer you were looking for

All windows servers and most stand alone systems have an autobackup feature
that you can use. Just put a RW DVD into the drive and forget it. You will
back up (after you set it up) at the same time every day. If you are woring
with important data you MUST use this option - it's free and takes no work at
all after it's been set up.

Here is a Microsoft KB article saying how you're supposed to be able
to do that, given some conditions (look at the top of the article).

I haven't had the need to try it, so I don't know whether/how it works.
