Under WinXP Pro, How Can I Delete Files From a CD-RW that Have READ ONLY Properties?

I made the mistake of copying my FAVORITES folder onto a CD-RW. That CD-RW
already has quite a few other folders that I have copied/backed-up on that
media. Now, it won't let me delete the Favorites Folder or any
sub-folders--even after I open its Properties and uncheck the READ ONLY
setting. No matter what I do XP Pro will not let me delete the Read Only
status, even though I am the system administrator.

How can I force the Favorites folder and all sub-folders properties on this
CD-RW to non-READ-ONLY?

I shall greatly appreciate your help.

Dear David, If at all you want to do this using windowsxp and not any
software, you will need to format your CD-RW and then re-write the data
according to your new wish and will. As I know, you can't delete folders
once written on a CD-RW using windows xp built-in CD burning program, you
can however, do it using the method described above.
