Undelete User Profile

I have a stand alone w2k. One of my siblings accidentally
delete my profile on system properties\User Profiles.
When I login, all my settings and document are gone. Is
there anyway I could recover on this ordeal? Need help.

You could look in the registry HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\Current Version\Profile List. I doubt your profile is there but
take a look. You will have to find your SID too.

You can try a undelete file recovery utility. If the file has not
been overwritten then you may have a chance to get it back (or at
least get parts of it).

You should use NTFS permissions on your profile so you will be safe in
the future. Or better yet give your sister limited rights using local
policies or just teach her and turn her into a future geek
