undelete deleted emails

Need a bit of help here please.
I deleted an email a while back and would like to retrieve it. Anyone know
where I find the deleted email file and what the extension is? Or is there
another way?

Most all email clients ( Outlook, Outlook Express...) place deleted
messages in the "Deleted" items folder. That folder will sometimes
have an AutoPurge or empty option after X-number of days. Mail is
not usually stored as individual files - but within container modules.
For Outlook it's a Personal folders (.Pst) or Outlook Express it is a
..dbx file. If the email client you use has had it's deleted items emptied
it's doubtful you'll be able to retrieve the mail message.

Best to ask the correct newsgroup. Outlook? Outlook
Express? Which version?
