UNC resolves to "Search Results" rather than Explorer

Some time ago I noticed that whenevre I clicked a UNC path
in an Outlook 2002 email message that it would resolve to
the "search results" window rather than windows explorer.

Anyonew have any ideas about how I can change this or is
this the proper behavior.
