Unable to view or open any files on removable media

Floppy, both the CD and CDRW, USB digital camera media
reader, will not open or show files on the removable
media. When attempting to open the drive an error
message displays "Unable to open x:\ Invalid Function.

Hard drives work fine, it is only the drives that have
removable disk that will not open.

On the CD burner you can burn a CD but once burnt, you
cannot open or see any of the files in windows exploer.
 
Butch, do you have more than one User Account on your System? Have you
tried the drives from the other User.?
 
There is only one account on the computer.
