Unable to Update Windows WP SP1

When going into Windows Update to Update and install
Windows XP SP1 I received the following message. Windows
XP SP1 is incompatible with your Windows XP edition (or
something close to that). I have Windows XP Home Edition
Version 5.1. My question is is there anything that I can
do to update with Windows XP SP1 and if so, what needs to
be done?
