Unable to up-load photos from a floppy on A drive computer freezes

From MY Pictures on XP I can download photos to my A drive on a floppy. When
I try to upload these photos on another computer the A drives freezes up with
no error message. I cannot even highlight either photo. Cannot right or left
click. Have to go to task manager to close the "not responding" application.

Sound like the other computer has a bad floppy drive.
