I tried using firefox and after a while I tried to reset
ie6 as my default browser by using the normal drill
(tools/internet options/programs/checked internet
explorer should check to see...etc.) and nothing happens,
firefox stays set as default.

Any suggestions how to correct? Thanks...Gene

Gene,

Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser - option does not work:

If that does not help, use IEFix: http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/IEFIX.htm

Yes, nice site, Ramesh! Unfortunately at
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/ie/nopromptdefault.htm
your Google Ads puts up an ad for Spyware Begone - see
http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm :-( But, in any case,
keep up the good work!
