Unable to send test message in Outlook 2002

Hello all,

I recently upgraded from Outlook express to outlook 2002,
and after setting up my email accounts I try to send a test
message. That fails, the explanation being that "Unable to
send test Message. Please verify the E-mail Address
field." I've verifyed the email address field; the correct
email address is in there. The problem occurrs with my two
POP3 email accounts (not my hotmail account). Any comments
or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

What happens if you actually try to send a message, rather than using the
"test account" button? They use different code, and actually sending a
message will probably give you a better error message.
