I went to the links you sited but this didn't really help. As far as I
could tell by looking at the registry, and by the program ShellExView, there
is no entry for "Properties" when I right-click a directory. But the
right-click isn't slow, nothing happens at all. The same is true when I
right-click and select "Sharing and Security...".
This seems to be related to directories only. If I select "properties" for a
file, I get the property screen right away.

Right-click is slow or weird behavior caused by context menu handlers

Right-click is extremely slow only when Network is enabled

Hope this helps. Let us know.
