I have TS load on to my Win2k server which is running Domino 6. When accessing the server via the TS Connection Manager the start bar does not show the loaded application, Domino, where a log in from the server does. The same login account and password are used in both places. I can also log into the server using both methods at the same time and the screens still have the difference. I need to have the Domino server console to show so I can run some commands. Why are the screens different? I have other methods to access the console on the server but using the the Connection Manager is the most convient
Thanks for any help offere

This is not possible in W2K.
Windows 2003 supports a connection to the console with
mstsc /console.

Not possible
I am using TS Client (Version 5.0.2221.1) and it does not appear and it does at the server(5.00.2195 sp 4)
Or are your saying that it is not possible to see the application running using TS even if logged in using the same account?

That is because you get a new _session_ when you log on using TS Client.

That's right. Logging on as the same _account_ does not mean that you
log on to the same _session_. One user account can make many connections
to the same server using TS Client and for each connection that same
user account gets a new session, that is a new desktop, a new
environment where applications run.

When an application is started on the console session on the server and
you want to see that application using TS Client, you need to connect to
the console session on the server. That can only be done if the server
is running Windows Server 2003 (or Windows XP Proffessional).

The thing is you must see the difference between user accounts and TS
sessions (desktops on the same server).
