When i try to log onto my computer, i click on my name, which is the only user on the computer, enter my password, and i get an error. it says something about not being able to verify windows(?). so, i click okay. it goes back to the log on screen, and i repeat the prosess, and it allows me to log on. once i'm in windows, many of the program icons come up as an icon that doesn't have a host program. for example, if i try to open a document, a screen will pop up asking me to select a program to run the application. the other times, i get a warning that says "not enough system resources" or, "not enough quota to process this command." i don't know what to do, since i didn't buy this computer from dell or gateway, i bought ti from a person. it is windows xp professional, and it's only about a year old. please e-mail me if you have any idea as to what i can do, and if i have to re-image then i will.
