Unable to recognize Network Devices

My Computer is XP Pro, and refuses to recognize the Linksys USB wireless
network adapter. The Unit shows up perfectly on hardware manager, and it
shows normal indication, but windows does not recognize the hardware. I
would like to use it as yet another computer does and have it recognize the
wireless network in the house. Thank you for your assisatance....
 
This is wrong NG for your question. We deal with Windows XP Embedded OS here.
You may get better replies if you post it to microsoft.public.windowsxp.general newsgroup.
