To All,
The problem started last night and has never happened
before.
Situation:
Daily I publish updates to our corporate intranet using
FrontPage 2K. The servers are Win2k running IIS 5.0. I
will always publish to the Dev Server first to validate
changes and then from the Dev to the Production Server.
Once a week (usually Thursday evening) I will delete the
web on my local machine and re-publish from the Production
Server back to my local machine. This way I know I have 3
of a kind.
Last night I start the process and started getting the
following error message from both the Production and Dev
Servers when trying to publish back to my local machine.
[Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions:
Received empty response from Microsoft FrontPage Server
Extensions ]
So I waited until this morning and tried it again and get
the same thing again.
Anybody want to shed some light on this for me ? Nothing
has changed on my local machine and the 2 servers can talk
to each other with no problems.
Thanks,
JCrowe
