I have been unable to print from IE6 for months now. I am using WinXP and
have IE6. I receive the following error when I try to print from browser:

An error has occurred in the script on this page
Line 608
Char 1
Error Library not registered
Code 0
URL res://C:\\WINDOWS\System32\shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg

I tried following the following resolution given in Microsoft Knowledge Base
Article - 306831:

Resolution:

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

1.. Click Start, and then click Run.
2.. In the Open box, type Regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click OK.
3.. When prompted with the DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded
message, click OK.
This resolution did not correct print error. I also followed some advice
given to other folks with similar problem and checked PC for the parasite
"surfairy", but did not find it. Any suggestions?

Try reinstalling the Windows 5.6 Scripting Engine:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/webdev.asp

(Everything, including your AV app, should be closed when doing so.)

Run this fix
http://www.angelfire.com/dragon/sramesh2k/utils/IEFix.exe and/or re-register
all of
the DLLs listed in http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=281679.

IE Help>About>Update Versions> Is Q822925 listed here? What is?

IE Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>Browsing>Enable third-party browser
extensions (uncheck & reboot).

Thanks for your suggestions. You listed a couple new things I hadn't tried
yet....reinstalling win5.6 scripting engine and running IEFix.exe.
Unfortunately they did not correct my problem.

I do have a work around...I copy and paste web pages into Word and I can
print out of Word. It's a pain, but at least it works. I can't yet get
myself to go so far a reinstalling winxp. That is another suggestion I keep
seeing.
