Has anyone else had this problem? I cannot open links in emails and on some
websites. When I try, the email or website freezes. My only option is to
restart my computer.

I thought the problem was related to my McAfee software, but I have
uninstalled the software and continue to have the problem. When I restart
the computer, I get a message that the "Auto-Suggest Drop Down" is not
working. Hence, I am wondering if this is related to Microsoft XP.

Any help?

Thanks.

It might help to repair the .LNK and .URL associations:

Fix File Associations.

No, its NOT a MS problem. Its an app you have installed that is your
problem.
