Unable to open hyperlinks

When I click on a hyperlink in an email message,
Microsoft Explorer opens, but nothing comes up. The
browser is open, but nothing is workable on it. Any ideas
or suggestions? I had installed Firefox and tried that,
didn't like it and this problem seems to have started
after I uninstalled Firefox. How bad did I mess up?

Got it to work, found help article and had to refresh
