Unable to open existing docs with Office 2004

I have just loaded Office Pro 2003 and now can not open
my existing word documents. When I try to open a file I
receive the error "File is not available".

Disable the Office Plug-in in Norton AntiVirus.

I am having the same problem, have you gotten an answer to your question about not being able to open docs ...
