unable to obtain list of tables from data source when mail mergin

I;m trying to create a mail merge and when i get to the point where I
seclect from outlook contacts i'm getting the message "unable to obtain list
of tables from the data Source"

I'm not sure how to fix this.

Neither could we. You provided no information. State Outlook version, Word
version, precise steps used and how you have configured your Outlook Address
Book Service.
