I changed the computer from an NT domain into a workgroup
and now the passwords that used to work no longer let me
logon.
I get to the logon screen but the local administrator
account does not work. The alternate adminstrative
account does not work either.
I have tried all combinations of admin accounts and user
accounts still the system will not let me logon.
Any ideas other than reinstallation?

If the users where defined in the domain, then you would of
lost access to them when you left the domain. Only locally
defined user names will be available to you.

As for the admin account, have you tried starting up in
safe mode?

If you need to reset the password, you might find the
thread started on Oct 4, in the microsoft.public.security
newsgroup, subject: Administrator pass. Link is:
