SBS 2003 network. One XP Pro machine got corrupted, did a
fresh install, named machine what it used to be named (in
this case STEVEN) re-joined the domain and added the same
user account as before but now this user (or any non-admin
user) gets the error message "unable to logon
interactively" tried to user ntrights to fix but am
getting error messages regarding the SID. Help greatly
appreciated!

Replying to myself so as to add one thing:
***Error*** AddUserRightToAccount -1073741728
is the exact error message. Again, any admin account
(changing a regular user to an admin) can log in. I know
the local security policy for local logins comes from the
Server (PDC) first as I can't edit the user rights on the
workstation itself...they are locked. I do see some S I
type users (the way deleted users usally look) in the
policy but again I can't add any users or a group (ideally
powerusers, users, authenticated users etc). I'm in a
bind...ideas?
