are gone and I have no program listings...

Hi "Bob I" and ty for the response. How did you know it was the weather
channel thing? O.K. I checked out the bleeping computer site and haven't
really navigated through it yet. It seems as if I have to register 1st. and
I'll do that shortly. If you've got any other tips on navigating through
bleeping I'd sure appreciate that help as well... :)
Thanks

Seems to be some 3rd party software you loaded?

i work in DSL tech support and have seen this issue recently. The cu
had our security and i reinstalled it thinking that it could be a
corrupt file. the problem persisted. Cu does have Weather Max and is
unable to remove it. Any suggestions on where to refer them since
thier tech support appears to be NO help?

Is the program Desktop Max, from Weather.com? If so, the following
pages have show Uninstall procedure.
