I'm screded all around trying to get something to play DVDs!
Can't get WMP 11 to play them, so bought Power DVD for Vista, but can't get it to install right.
The installation shows 70% done, and once got to 90%, but never goes to 100%, but says it's done and needs to restart to finish. But after restart it is not installed.
Got a message after that saying program may not have installed correctly, and gave choise to re-install using recommended settings.
When I select that, it starts the install, but quits and says "install terminated, this is intended for Vista only". Whatever is doing that don't even recognize that it IS VIsta!

If you bought PowerDVD in a store it is likely that the program already has
1 or 2 upgrades available. Go to the company web site and download the very
latest version. Then install it, using the install key that you received
along with your retail purchase.

BTW, I have not seen a new retail program in about 3 years that did not have
an upgrade available by the time you bring the program into your home.

If you didn't buy a retail version of the program - I can't help you.
