Unable to edit mpeg video that wil play in WMPlayer

I recorded a short movie using Pinnacle's Studio 8 and
Dazzle 150 DVC. It will play in WMPlayer. However, when I
try to edit that mpeg video in Windows Movie Maker 2,
only the audio shows up and plays. Any ideas?
 
It's an MPEG2 codec issue... MM2 playback/importing of MPEG2 content is
completely dependent on the third party MPEG2 decoder installed on your
computer. Most do not work well. See the Importing Source Files > Video >
MPEG2 page of my website.
